Anti-Solicitation Policy

Last updated: June 2026

MVP placeholder. Review with qualified securities and financial regulation counsel before accepting real participants.

CHECKPOINT is not an investment, fundraising, or capital-raising platform.

The platform exists to connect companies for strategic business purposes: partnerships, distribution, licensing, co-marketing, and executive knowledge exchange. Any attempt to use the platform to solicit investment, raise capital, or offer financial instruments is a material violation of these terms and may constitute a violation of applicable securities law.

Prohibited solicitation activities

  • Requesting equity investment from matched companies or executives
  • Offering securities, convertible notes, SAFEs, or any financial instrument
  • Soliciting loans, debt financing, or credit facilities
  • Fundraising for any purpose, including charitable or non-profit fundraising
  • Crowdfunding solicitation, whether equity or reward-based
  • Pre-payment or escrow schemes in advance of a described future service
  • Any communication that has investment solicitation as its primary purpose
  • Disguising fundraising requests as partnership or distribution proposals

Permitted commercial activities

  • Strategic distribution partnerships (you distribute their product; they distribute yours)
  • Commercial licensing of technology, IP, or brands
  • Co-marketing and joint go-to-market campaigns
  • Joint product or service development agreements
  • Supply chain integration and procurement relationships
  • ESG and sustainability collaboration
  • Channel partner development
  • Executive peer knowledge exchange (non-commercial)

How we enforce this policy

AI-generated opportunity descriptions are reviewed to eliminate capital solicitation language. Our generation pipeline explicitly instructs models to exclude any fundraising, investment, or capital framing from output.

Participant-written communications (messages, profile descriptions) are subject to monitoring for policy compliance. Accounts found to be soliciting capital will be suspended immediately and may be reported to securities regulators in applicable jurisdictions.

If you believe another participant is violating this policy, report it to support@checkpoint.ai.

Why this policy exists

CHECKPOINT's value is in the quality and trustworthiness of its matching. Allowing capital solicitation would undermine participant trust, expose the platform to regulatory risk, and fundamentally change the nature of introductions from strategic to transactional. We believe the best strategic relationships are built on mutual commercial fit, not one party seeking capital from another.
